One of the most important aspects of character sheets and other play materials is how it adds to the experience at the table. A well designed sheet can simplify complex concepts through an intuitive interface. So even if you're still working on a unfinished game, there is plenty of benefits in having your play materials laid out!
This is even more important for games with long-term campaign play, where players will be using the same character sheet for 10+ sessions.
